Callahan shifts total focus to recruitingLincoln - While a losing season and no bowl game would never be viewed as a positive for the Nebraska football program, Cornhuskers head coach Bill Callahan and his staff will attempt to make the best of a bad situation. With a 26-20 loss to Colorado ending Nebraska's season with a 5-6 mark -- the program's first losing season since 1961 -- the Huskers coaching staff will play to one of its supposed strengths: recruiting.
